We price each job based on complexity and machine time.
Old South Engraving, Inc has added Sawmill Services to the service offerings. Utilizing a Woodmizer LT40 Super Hydraulic Wide Head mill allows for portable sawing either at the customer's location or at ours.
This is a computerized mill that allows for a more consistent cuts each and every time.
Services are charged based on the travel distance, number of hours, and board feet milled. There is also a charge for blades that are broken by foreign objects in the logs.
While this is not our primary focus, it does afford our customers options for trees they have taken down.
Prices May Vary (due to fuel costs)
Hourly rate: $65.00
Off Bearer: $25.00 (If assistance is not provided)
Blade Breakage due to foreign object: $29.00
Travel charges are $2.00 per mile from Leesville, S.C.
Additional Setups: $40.00 (Moving Mill around site to log piles)
